Raila Finally Wins Big

A day after threatening to leave the ongoing bipartisan talks, the former prime minister Raila Odinga alongside his Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition has received a major win.

As relayed by a report covered on Tuesday’s Standard publication, the national dialogue committee has finally agreed to include the cost of living in the talks.

Speaking after yesterday’s sitting in Nakuru, Kimani Ichungwah noted that the dialogue committee has started tacking the issue and they will be inviting experts to help them tackle the agenda since it cannot be agreed in one day.

” We have started tackling the difficult questions of cost of living. We have resolved that beginning next week, we will be inviting a number of experts to help us crack the number and help us with Proposals that would help ease the burden that kenyans are bearing”, Kimani Ichungwah said.

Also, Kimani Ichungwah noted they have backing from the senate and the national assembly literally after they were added another 30 days.

Also, he confirmed to have reached a consensus on audit of electoral reforms, reconstitution of IEBC commission and many other things.

Apparently, this is a major win to former prime minister Raila Odinga and Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition as whole since cost of living was the main reason of entering in dialogue with the government.
