Two Positions Raila Now Demands to Be Created

Having agreed to form the office of official opposition leader and entrench office of Prime cabinet secretary into the constitution, it seems president William Ruto will go back to the drawing board.

As relayed by a report covered on Tuesday’s People Daily publication, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition has proposed another two top positions in Kenya Kwanza’s government.

As reported, the coalition’s now wants office of Prime Minister to have two deputies and be entrenched within a parliamentary system of the government.

According to Azimio la Umoja, it supports the creation and entrenchment of two positions that Ruto initiated but also, deputies of Prime Minister should be created.

” Azimio la Umoja support the creation and entrenchment of office of opposition into the constitution within a parliamentary system of the government. Azimio supports the creation and entrenchment of office of Prime Minister with two deputies within a parliamentary system of the government “, Azimio argued.

This comes when both camps are in talks via the national dialogue committee that was drawn from both Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition and Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

It should be noted president William Ruto has always been supportive of creating office of official opposition leader in order to opposition a chance of airing their views.
