Cyprian Nyakundi, a prominent Kenyan blogger with a substantial following, recently made headlines by connecting several high-ranking politicians to a gold scandal.
Among them is Zaheer Jhanda, the Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Chache constituency, who was elected under the United Democratic Alliance banner.
The legislator has now come out to address the allegations that have been levelled against him, he has said that they are all false and he has sued the blogger and he will see into it that justice has been done to him.
The first time member of parliament has now promised to write down a resignation letter and give it to the speaker of the national assembly if anyone provides any evidence be it audio, written or any other form linking him to the gold scandal.
The member of parliament further says that the money he earns as a member of parliament is enough for him and he can’t think or even associate with people involved in the gold scandal.
