Matiangi Foresaw Jalango, Chesang Fake Gold Scam Exposure

In May, few months to the 2022 General elections, while attending The National Council of The Administration of Justice, Matiang’i warned that money launderers and other criminals were taking advantage of the financial regulations laxity in the country to manipulate 2022 elections.

He had warned that the country was risking having a large number of criminals buying their way into elected office.

“We could end up laundering criminals of unprecedented standards into our elective offices. We might have over 40 per cent of elected officeholders becoming our leaders if we allow all the ‘wash wash’ gangs and other criminals to bribe their way in the coming elections.”

is foreshadowing seems to allegedly come to pass after a local daily , ‘Citizen Daily’ published a story linking Laangata MP Phelix Oduor alias Jalang’o, Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang and Mp Nyaribari Chache Zaheer Jhanda were linked to a Fake Gold Syndicate.

The said MPs are said to be members of a syndicate that is dumping unsuspecting investors using fake golds in the county.

In a public notice, furious Jalang’o has vowed to take legal actions against the daily for dragging his name into the mud and for also trying to extort money from him.
