High School Teachers to Earn 20k as Ruto Makes Changes

According to available sources of news, Kenya Kwanza government is set to address the employment gap in the Education sector as details emerge on 20,000 recruitment plan. More details reveal that Ruto’s administration is focused of bridging the existing gap among teachers. This will be done as early as next week.

However, teachers on Secondary schools who are working on a contract will be earning a total of ksh 20,000 per month as their counterparts in Primary schools earn Ksh 15,000.

Despite the underpayment, President Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government is trying hard to employ a total of 56,000 tutors every year. All this will be done by Teachers Service Commission (TSC) so as to address high unemployment of teachers.

Not only that, learning in schools will now be smooth as teachers are enough. At the same time,Ruto led administration should ensure that all the graduated teachers are absorbed into the system,so that they can also earn a living
