Why Raila-Ruto’s Talks Will Fail

Kenya Kwanza Alliance’s and Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance’s dialogue team were faring well after agreeing on several things they should include in their dialogue.

However, a new twist has come by to interrupt the smooth ongoing process of the dialogue after Raila’s and President William Ruto’s camps disagreed on the US ambassador’s statement during the devolution conference.

Raila Amollo Odinga fired harsh words at US Ambassador, Meg Whiteman, for claiming that the 2022 general elections were the most transparent election ever done in Kenya.

Meg Whiteman’s words do not land well in Raila Odinga’s hands and his entire Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance members who concluded that Meg Whiteman and the US government are now interfering with Azimio’s work of fighting for justice in the humiliating government of President Ruto.

Raila Amollo Odinga asked Meg Whiteman to shut up her mouth and stop talking about fairness and credibility in the bungled 2022 Presidential elections.

President William Samoei Ruto’s camp, led by Rigathi Gachagua, has answered him back and asked Raila Odinga to shut up too and stop dropping off his personal feelings at foreign friends of Kenya.

Now that a new issue of addressing the foreign affairs issues, what the ambassadors should and should not say, will President William Ruto’s camp agree that Meg Whiteman did a mistake?

By agreeing that Meg Whiteman overstepped in Kenya, President William Ruto’s Camp will be admitting in broad daylight that the 2022 Presidential elections were never fair and credible.

Meg Whiteman’s statement broke Raila’s heart further by making him the greatest enemy of Kenya for refusing to concede defeat to President William Samoei.
