Raila Suffers a Major Blow

Following the most recent statement from Ruto’s camp, led by UDA secretary general Cleophas Malala, the former prime minister Raila Odinga has experienced a significant setback on the auditing of IEBC servers.

According to reports received by Challynews, Malala, a staunch supporter of deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, asserted that Ruto’s team would neither support or debate any requests by Azimio to audit the presidential election held in August of last year.

Malala declared that the election period was over during a Sunday church service in Meru, claiming that the supreme court had confirmed William Ruto’s victory.

Cleophas Malala declares that “we shall neither debate or support any calls by the ongoing Bi-Partisan Talks to audit the 2022 Presidential Elections.”

This follows the demand for an audit of the August 2016 presidential election made by Azimio la Umoja, one of the Kenya Coalition’s leaders and led by the late former prime minister Raila Odinga.

Mr. Odinga claims that Wafula Chebukati, the former chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), rigged the august presidential election of last year. Chebukati recently rejected to attend before the National Dialogue Committee, which is led by Kalonzo Musyoka and Kimani Ichungwah, to offer his proposal.
