Famous land activist-turned politician Philip Njuguna Wa Ruth alias PMG death shocks the Murang’a business fraternity.

PMG Njuguna Wa Ruth, the Celebrated Murang’a land activist died after a short illness.

PMG or independent thinker died on Sunday, April 11, after a short session of an undisclosed disease.

He became more famous when he began a spirited fight against juice processor Delmonte, which had been implicated in grabbing land owned by Kandara based peasant farmers.

Before his death, PMG led a section of locals in Kandara named Kandara Residents Association (KRA).

He is well known for his wisdom and independent thinking. He was a political analyst at Kameme TV alongside others.

Murang’a businessmen will miss him for his fight against land grabbers and cartels that encroached the Murang’a county and other leadership positions in the county.
