Ruto Surprises Kiptum’s Family

President William Ruto has reportedly taken a compassionate step by ordering the construction of a 3-bedroom house for the family of the late marathoner Kelvin Kiptum before his scheduled burial on February 24th.

This directive, as revealed by Citizen TV sports reporter Mike Okinyi, involved the dispatch of special guests to Kiptum’s home to oversee the preparations, alongside accompanying engineers tasked with building the house. The head of state expressed his desire to visit the completed house before Kiptum is bid farewell in a heroic send-off.

Assuring a swift execution, the engineers committed to completing the house within seven days, following a site inspection facilitated by Kiptum’s family, who had already designated the location for construction.

In a televised report, Mike Okinyi conveyed, ”We had very special guests today visiting Kiptum’s family and they were sent by Dr. William Ruto because they want to put in a house for him, they want to build a house for Kelvin Kiptum’s family and that’s a 3-bedroomed house that has to be ready before he is buried on the 24th. The engineers were on site today. The President says he wants to be in that house before this guy is sent off as a hero.”

Kiptum tragically lost his life in a fatal road accident last Sunday, prompting this empathetic response from President Ruto to ensure the welfare and stability of the bereaved family during this challenging time.
