Coup Fears in Uganda as Museveni’s Son Makes a Bold Move

The outspoken son of the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has continued to elicit mixed reactions over his controversial statements that he normally posts on his social media platforms especially X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the latest posts, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has demanded that his father, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni give him back to the Uganda Defense forces as soon as possible.

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba wants to be the commander of Uganda Defense Forces, a position that he held initially before his father stripped him of his powerful post but later promoted him to General.

This is after General Muhoozi made a controversial post on social media threatening to lead his army to Kenya capture Nairobi City and settle in a town of his choice.

General Muhoozi was demanding his father to return the army to him while responding to a social media post of Kanali Jet Mwebaze insisting that he will one day become the president of Uganda.
