DRAMA IN KISII AFTER YOUTHS ATTACKED RUTO

There was drama on Friday, March 24, 2023 in Kisii during the official homecoming ceremony of Education CS Ezekiel Machogu after rowdy youths attempted to disrupt the event. President Ruto was in attendance.

From video’s shared by reliable sources, rowdy youths attempted to gain access to where the head of state was and disrupt the event but hawk eyed commandos guarding the president and the venue quickly and swiftly responded to the youths.

GSU officers on site immediately responded to shouts from the venue and chased away the youths. The event was temporarily stopped as police tried to take control of the security breach. At the time of publishing the article, it was not yet clear whether arrests had been made.

Ruto is in Kisii area for a three day official business. The region is a strong hold of his political enemy Raila Odinga and such drama and chaos were expected. However, calm has been reinstated and the event is currently ongoing.
