ICC Prosecutor Response to Azimio Taking Ruto to Hague

ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan maintains that any leader, not just African, can be prosecuted for causing death of citizens:

“Everything is in a political environment but who would support genocide or crimes against humanity?” he posed.

Khan commended Kenya for its fight for justice and equality from colonialists.

He however declined to confirm whether Azimio had written to ICC over violence witnessed during recent anti-gov’t demos. “Let me recuse myself there,” the ICC Prosecutor said.

This comes as both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza prepare for talks which might put a stop to the weekly protests.
