Why Karim Khan Might Lose His Job

Azimio’s lawyer Paul Mwangi writes to the ICC accusing Prosecutor Karim Khan of lacking transparency, says his activities in Kenya demoralized victims of international crimes.

According to news which circulates in social media, Azimio prominent lawyer poke holes in the recent visit of prominent ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan to Mount Kenya University, saying the court of ICC is questionable.

While addressing Kenyans through his Twitter handle, Paul Mwangi questioned the credibility of the ICC, saying Prosecutor Karim Khan is a friend to current sitting president William Ruto and therefore the cases filed by Azimio on alleged police brutality and killings of innocent Kenyans may not take it course.

The British lawyer, who represented President William Ruto at the ICC about a decade ago, has, however, elicited mixed reactions, with Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition co-principal Martha Karua questioning the timing of the visit.
