Ruto’s Team Issues 2 Demands Before Bipartisan Talks

The majority leader in the National Assembly Kimani Ichungwah has given two demands before meeting the Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka before meeting him for Bipartisan talks.

Ichungwah is clear that, the talks must never revolve around handshake or sharing of power for that’s a matter that was settled at the ballot in the August 9th polls.

Kimani Ichungwah is clear that the talks must also issue orders to stop violent protests in the country as part of the first agreement. He is clear that, no person should die so that a person gets power through the backdoor.

Kimani Ichungwah has urged those in Azimio who are expecting the talks to revolve around the high cost of living to also forget. He is firm that, the cost of living is the agenda of Kenya Kwanza government and they are implementing a plan in order to ensure that the country has enough food. Ichungwah has urged the opposition to instead play the oversight role on key government activities.

Ichungwah and Kalonzo are expected to chair the bipartisan talks as they strive to put the country on a recovery path. Kenyans are eagerly waiting to see a united country, led by the bipartisan team.
