Mount Kenya Residents Giving Ruto a Hard Time

Mount Kenya lawyer Ndegwa Njiru has revealed that things did not go as planned for the head of state president William Ruto today in kirinyaga county where he was concluding his 5 day visit to the region.

According to Ndegwa Njiru, the people of kirinyaga have told the first in command that they are not ready to take in his empty promises and have ordered him to do the following for them.

First that they want the head of state to give them a guaranteed minimum returns from the sell of Tea and coffee.

Secondly that they claimed that when the tea and coffee cartels were there, they were selling Macadamia for ksh 150 and after sending away the cartels they are now selling it at ksh 20 which is a loss for them.

“In kirinyaga mambo imechemka… huyu lies wa tumetenga…tutatenga… wamemwabia hawataki story za jaba …wamesema wanataka guaranteed minimum returns ya kahawa….wanasema ata afadhali zile siku za CARTELS waliuza makandamia at 150/= saa baada ya kufukuza cartels wanauza 20/=,” he said.
