Sifuna to Leave Azimio Bipartisan Talk Committee

The orange Democratic movement party secretary general Edwin Sifuna has threatened to leave the azimio la umoja movement bipartisan talks team.

According to the Nairobi county senator, his only plea with the bipartisan talks committee is to first discuss about the cost of Unga in the country.

“The expertise I am bringing to this team is Unga. If we are not discussing Unga then I have no business in that committee,” he said.

This comes even as president William Ruto’s government committee have insisted that they shall only discuss the issue of reconstitution of the independent electoral and boundaries commission officials and nothing else. They term the reducing or Unga prices and subsidies as a corruption ridden.

The bipartisan talks were however stopped after the opposition leader Raila Odinga and his team claimed that the Kenya kwanza alliance government were not taking the talks serious as they lacked commitment towards the issues raised.
