Ruto’s Lawyer Answers Former Uhuru’s Ally

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s key confidant Macharia Kamau on Saturday castigated President William Ruto for the troubles facing the former first family.

The former Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs termed the recent happenings in Kenya as lack of patriotism and self esteem.

“The example that you’re setting to your family and your compatriots, to the next generation and the international community about whom you are and how you think is terrible,” Macharia stated.

“It will haunt you and your ilk. An inability to live and let live,” he added.

Ruto’s lawyer and current Foreign Affairs PS Korir Sing’Oei called out double speak of his predecessor.

He stated that enablers of anarchy no matter their personal station in life must be subjected to the full weight of the law.

Korir drew parallels in what is currently happening in the country and the US situation. He noted despite Trump having been the 45th President of US, he was facing criminal charges.

It was not immediately clear if Sing’Oei meant that the Kenyatta family would be facing court charges.
