NO MAANDAMANO AS RAILA ANNOUNCES NEW PLAN TO DEAL WITH RUTO

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition wing have today changed tune on what they will do if the MPs will pass the proposed 2023 Finance Bill.

Speaking at the Kikuyu Council of Elders Headquarters in Kiambu, Raila’s representing revealed that the coalition have now opted to take legal action should the bill be passed by the Members of the national Assembly,as opposed to mass protests that had been announced by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

An a message delivered by Homabay Senator Moses Kajwang, Raila reportedly said that the Azimio wing is away that the Bill may be passed by the MPs, alleging that the Kenya Kwanza wing is involved in buying of Azimio allied MPs.

Kajwang revealed that Azimio wing already have fleet of lawyer lawyers lined up to stop the government from implementing the bill should it be passed by the MPs.

He said that they are hopeful that the Judiciary will not be biased and will help Kenyans in making sure that the bill is not applicable in Kenya.

“Raila amejitolea na amesema ataendelea kupigania haki za wakenya na hatanyamasishwa (Raila has said that he will continue fighting for Kenyans and that he will not be silenced),” Kajwang said.

“Kama wale wataninunua wabunge na hiyo Sheria ipite. Sisi tuatelekea korti Kwa sababu tuko na lawyers wengi wako ready kupambana nao (If they will buy the MPs and the bill will be passed, we will go to the court because we have a number of lawyers ready to face them),” Kajwang said (from 19 to 20 minutes of this video).

he move comes barely 24 hours after Azimio leader Raila Odinga reiterated his warning of organizing nationwide mass demonstrations in response to Parliament’s potential passage of the Finance Bill 2023.
