RUTO BREAKS SILENCE AFTER HIS VICE RESIGNED

President William Ruto’s side has finally reacted after the resignation of UDA’s Vice-chair Seth Panyako over the proposed housing levy of 3 per cent.

Speaking via his official twitter handle, UDA secretary general Cleophas Malala claimed Panyako has resigned for nothing urging him to stop hallucinating.

Malala as well revealed UDA’s leadership structure ruling out Seth Panyako’s post.

” For avoidance of doubt. UDA leadership is as follows:1. ChairPerson: H.E Hon.Governor Cecil Mbarire 2. Deputy Chairperson: Hon. Sen. Hassan Omar 3. Secretary General-Hon.Sen. Cleophas Malalah 4.Treasurer-Hon. Mp Japheth Nyakundi”, he wrote.

” Seth Panyako must stop hallucinating, he has resigned from nothing. @CecilyMbarire, @HassanOmarH , @UDAKenya @OmeteYusuf @DigitalUda”, he added.

His statement comes off after Panyako who claimed Ruto isn’t inline with the promises he made during his campaign.

Panyako via a statement ditched Ruto’s camp saying government has shortchanged those who believed in Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

However reacting to his statement, kenyans expressed their views via their official twitter handles as follows;

Mental: While the housing levy tax has been the focus of our attention recently, it is crucial that we remain aware of other impending taxes that could significantly impact our lives. As citizens, we must stay informed and engaged. There are additional taxes being proposed that could….

Junior: This forcible 3% housing levy sounds more obnoxious when explained. It remains a mystery how the Kenya Kwanza Government is going to give me a key and a title deed to my house in Elgon view Nairobi before their term come to an end in 2027. It sounds better when unexplained.

Bokey: This is a monumental decision, @PanyakoSeth. This guy is a statesman. How many UDA MPs today feel it is wrong but can’t even blink? Hongera sana.

Mutua: Huyu ni tumbocrat.He only stayed in UDA this long hoping for a state appointment for his support to the president. Akwende. Even Azimio wouldn’t touch him. He’s just an opportunist.
