END OF THE ROAD FOR RAILA ODINGA

Former Jubilee members of the legislature have made a clear break with the Jubilee faction of the Azimio coalition party. These former lawmakers have chosen to support the Kenya Kwanza government, marking a break with the past and a dedication to Kenya’s future. They did so after seeing the need for a new strategy.

These MPs have ties to the Azimio faction for a very long time. They have had to reconsider their position, nevertheless, in light of recent events. Even though a legally recognized new government is in office, the Azimio faction’s persistence on rejecting the results of the previous elections has led to a widening schism within the party.

Wambugu and other like-minded people have sought an alternative course that emphasizes advancement and cooperation in response to this strife.
