Another MP Dumps Raila After Mistreatment

The Raila-led Azimio coalition has continued to face instability as politicians continue to walk out and seek refuge in other camps. A section of members of the Azimio affiliate parties have already expressed interest to work with president William Ruto.

Bahati member of parliament who was elected under the Azimio umbrella has revealed that she has parted ways with her coalition leader, over what she termed as mistreatment of Jubilee legislators.

Speaking on Wednesday in one of the local TV station, Irene said that following the chaotic demonstrations that were led by the Azimio leadership, she made a decision to support the government of the day.

“The president should be given peace of mind to work for Kenyans. If you were defeated you should just accept and move on. We in Jubilee party have parted ways with Raila Odinga. He should also not expect to get a share of the government through demonstrations,” noted the legislator.

Njoki also castigated Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni over his conduct during the Azimio demonstrations. She said that sufurias are for cooking and not for covering the head. She added that the party will be effecting changes soon.
