RAILA ADDRESSES THE NATION.

Current happening as the Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance leader Raila Odinga is adressing the nation after a plan by the President William Ruto’s government to raise the taxes through the financial bill that will be brought before the parliament for approval.

Flanked by other Azimio leaders including NARC party leader Martha Karua, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-KENYA party leader Eugene Wamalwa among other leaders, the opposition has called out the government over the plan to raise more taxes at a time when the their was harsh economic situation in the country.

Ruto is seeking to raise the fuel levy tax from 8% to 16% in the the new financial bill that has brought controversies in the country.

Prices of beauty products including wigs is set to raise in the new move aimed at collecting more revenue for the government.
