Kalonzo Suffers Huge Setback Over His 2027 Plans

UDA founder Johnson Muthama has handed the former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka a major setback in line with his 2027 Presidential ambitions.

Speaking via a report covered on Monday’s Nation publication, Muthama has thrown kalonzo Musyoka under the bus by maintaining that only the former prime minister Raila Odinga can challenge Ruto in 2027.

According to Muthama, Kalonzo Musyoka will be a walkover for Ruto as only the veteran opposition leader can challenge the head of state for the Presidential seat.

” Only Raila can challenge Ruto in 2027″, Johnson Muthama said.

Muthama further claimed that Uhuru Kenyatta was not keen to have the former prime minister Raila Odinga be the president as he didn’t campaign for him.

His statement comes off in line with reports that Mr Odinga might decision to back Mr kalonzo who recently boasted of being the right candidate to challenge Ruto for the presidency.

It should be noted that besides Kalonzo, Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua , DAP Kenya party leader Eugene Wamalwa and Former Murang’a governor Mwangi Wa Iria are as well considered as potential successors of Mr Odinga as next Azimio la Umoja candidate.
