MATIANG’I REVEALS THE DEADLY DISEASE THAT WILL FINISH KENYANS.

Fred Matiang’i, the Interior Cabinet Secretary, has disclosed the deadly disease that will soon wipe Kenya off the map if it is not prevented.

Matiang’i said that Kenyans would not be wiped out by HIV or COVID-19 diseases when he accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to open a Ksh4 billion gun manufacturing plant in Ruiru on Thursday.

He said the disease called ‘middlemannis’ is the one that will finish the country.

“In my country, I have come to learn that if Corona or HIV-Aids doesn’t kill us, the disease that will kill us faster is called ‘middlemannis,” he said.

Even as he disclosed to President Uhuru Kenyatta what he had recently unearthed, Dr. Matiang’i noticed that almost every government sector is suffering from the disease.

According to his research, the majority of public tenders for supplying the government with essential equipment was overpriced by at least 100%.

Even as he condemned people he referred to as “briefcase carriers,” who he said are found in every government office, beginning with Harambee House.

Matiang’i also decried the government’s high level of corruption, saying that immediate action is needed to combat the vice.

In the 2014 research finding by then Associate Professor Migai Akech officers in government institution often in collaboration with middlemen (or “brokers”), have also been accused of exploiting retirees and their dependants by promising to fast track the processing of their benefits if they pay bribes.

Kenya has manufactured about 12,000 riffles with 60% of the components being locally manufactured.

“Over the next year, we intend to diversify to include 9 mm pistols and 7.62 assault rifles,” Uhuru said.

Uhuru said the initiative will address the high cost of weapons acquisition and provide the security sector independence and allow Kenya to produce high-quality weapons.
