OBAMA ENDORSES DP RUTO FOR PRESIDENT 2022

2022 Elections are almost here and the politicians are lobbying for any endorsement they can get. From hosting tribal leaders in their residences to hosting foreign dignitaries, every politician is trying to get ahead in the race to State House.

Deputy President William Ruto has seen his star checked in the recent times. Just over two years ago, the presidency was his to lose. What has happened in under 800 days is treachery and betrayal from close allies as well as miscalculation and disastrous planning from his side. He has a huge challenge infront of him. To win the presidency, it will test his resolve, resilience and mastery of local politics.

Deputy President William Ruto got a timely boost by being endorsed by Malik Obama brother to President Barack Obama. Malik Obama in his morning tweet said “William Ruto is tough, resilient, brilliant, and most of all kind at heart. He has stood with many who have betrayed him. I stand with the Hustler nation.”

Malik Obama was attacked online by most Kenyans when he criticized his brother Barack Obama publicly. There was a public spat between the two siblings when Malik Obama chose to support Donald Trump and Barack Obama chose to support the former secretary of state Hillary Clinton. Malik Obama who votes in Maryland USA was a special guest in Trump’s campaign. Malik Obama unsuccessfully vied as a governor for Siaya County in 2013.
