Raila Reveals the Only Year He Lost Election

Azimio’s leader and former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, boldly asserted that neither President William Ruto, his deputy, former President Uhuru Kenyatta, nor the late former President Mwai Kibaki ever emerged victorious over him in any of the presidential contests.

Raila expressed his pride in winning all but one of the general elections he participated in. He elaborated that this consistent track record of success is a testament to his role as an opposition leader.

Notably, Raila conceded his only electoral loss occurred when he first ran for the presidential office against Moi that is in the year 1997.

This statement underlines his unwavering commitment to his political journey and his enduring influence in Kenyan politics.

“I would tell President William Ruto along with the deputy president of Kenya, Honorable rigathi Gachagua that they did not win the Elections. They know it, you know it and you even saw the IEBC Commissioners saying that former IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati did not announce the real results.

I have only lost one Elections and this is one of the main things that I have pride in. Knowing that I have only lost once,” Former prime minister of Kenya, Honorable Raila Odinga said.
