SHOCK AS RAILA ODINGA MOCKS PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has once again defended his presidential candidature saying he is not a government project.

Raila said, unlike in 2002 when the then President Daniel Moi fronted the current president Uhuru Kenyatta for the top seat, he is a seasoned politician who has vied for the presidency four times and has been a prime minister.

“It is very insincere for some people to say I’m a government’s project. I have been a presidential candidate, a prime minister and I’ve even won elections. That is arrogance,” Raila said during Narc NDC at Bomas of Kenya.

At the NDC, three Ukambani governors supported Raila for the presidency.

“In Raila, we have a candidate who can take this country to the next level after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term.

“The country needs an engineer to reengineer the country’s economy,” Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu said.

Ngilu is the party leader of Narc that she used to capture Kitui governor seat in 2017.

She is Raila’s fierce defender and a member of Azimio la Umoja women league.

There has been a sustained projection of Raila as President Uhuru’s project for the 2022 presidential election by Kenya Kwanza Alliance team led by Deputy President William Ruto.
