In a separate news update, Honorable Raila Odinga, the former Prime Minister of Kenya and the Presidential candidate for the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, criticized Honorable Rigathi Gachagua, the Deputy President of Kenya.

Gachagua had previously likened the government under President William Ruto to a company with shares. This statement has also drawn the attention of several United Democratic Alliance party members.

Multiple sources have corroborated that Honorable Rigathi Gachagua remains steadfast in his stance, refusing to apologize for his remarks, asserting that those who supported President William Ruto should receive greater benefits and opportunities from his administration.

Speaking about this, the former prime minister of Kenya, Honorable Raila Odinga has stated that it is so unfortunate that the deputy president of Kenya, Honorable Rigathi Gachagua is speaking as if Kenyans don’t pay taxes to the same government which the deputy president of Kenya is excluding them from.

Nairobi Governor Sakaja who spoke about the remarks of the deputy president of Kenya went on to say that the government under President William Ruto belongs to all Kenyans adding that any Kenyan is going to be treated as a Kenyan by the government.
