Safaricom Announces News MpesaTransaction Charges

Safaricom has today announced the charges of those sending money between ksh. 151, 000 and 250, 000.

According to the source the transaction ksh. 151, 000 and ksh 250, 000 to a registered number will cost Mpesa users Ksh. 108.

To transfer to Safaricom users who are not registered it will cost you ksh. 318. If you want to withdraw the same amount it will cost you ksh. 309.

To transfer the said amount to pochi la biashara, the source had reported that it will cost you ksh. 108.

The move by Safaricom to announce the charges comes just days after the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) increased the daily mobile money transaction limit to Ksh 500, 000 as digital transactions take root in the country.
