Ruto’s Close Ally Sends a Letter of Resignation

In the viral video in which former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale was spotted addressing the residents, he has threatened to resign from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party if Ruto does not sack Moses Kuria and David Ndii.

Kuria had claimed that he was the acting president of Kenya in the absence of Ruto and Gachagua, and Mudavadi Ndii, a Ruto advisor, had called for Kuria’s resignation but later posted a cryptic message suggesting that Kuria’s character could not be changed even if he resigned. Ruto had warned Kuria about making inflammatory remarks.

Boni Khalwale has demanded that President William Ruto sack Moses Kuria and David Ndii due to their handling of the fuel crisis and the rising cost of living in Kenya.

Khalwale believes that these individuals have been providing Ruto with misguided advice and have not effectively addressed the issues at hand. Specifically, Khalwale has criticized the following:

Misguided advice: Khalwale argues that Kuria, Ndii, and Chirchir have been providing Ruto with misguided advice regarding fuel-related matters and lowering the cost of living.

Inflammatory remarks: Moses Kuria had claimed that he was the acting president of Kenya in the absence of Ruto, Gachagua, and Mudavadi, which Ruto had warned him about for making such an inflammatory remark.

Lack of accountability: Ndii, a Ruto advisor, had called for the resignation of Kuria but later posted a cryptic message suggesting that Kuria’s character could not be changed even if he resigned.

This lack of accountability has further fueled Khalwale’s demand for their sacking.

Overall, Khalwale believes that the actions and statements of Kuria and Ndii have not been in the best interest of the Kenyan people, and their continued presence in the UDA party could be detrimental to Ruto’s political standing.
