List of MPs Who Wants Ruto to Fire Moses Kuria Immediately

Groups of members of Parliament dared to send a message to the president over the stance Mr. Kuria took after Meru Governor Kawira was impeached.

Among the MPs who took the steps to send the message to Ruto to send Kuria home regarding his move to reside with Kawira are Mpuru Aburu (Tigania East), Rahim Dawood (North Imenti), John Paul Mwirigi (Igembe South), and Julias Taitumu (Igembe North).

The message that was sent to the president is this: “We are telling his excellency the President that the time has come for him to relieve Kuria of his job as a cabinet secretary to allow him to go back and play politics,” Buuri MP Rindiki Mugambi said.

The MPs have put Kuria in hot soup after the Meru Caucus Group accused Kuria of meddling in the affairs of the county and called on President William Ruto to sack him.

Kuria has expressed solidarity with the impeached governor and described her impeachment as a witch hunt. He has also accused a “Mt. Kenya kingpin” of being behind Mwangaza’s impeachment. Kuria has been involved in Meru politics for some time, and he has been criticized by some for interfering in the county’s affairs.
