Kimani Wamatangi Declaration Days After Remarking on Feud With Ruto Over Land

Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has today vowed to continue fighting land cartels he claims are taking his county hostage.

Armed with a traditional sphere, Wamtangi vowed not to rest until he defeated them.

“The people of Kikuyu gave me symbolic weapons to continue fighting and defending county resources, including public land, from cartels and criminals who have savagely looted the county’s assets for years,” he asserted.

This comes a few days after he dismissed rumours that he was lectured by President William Ruto like a small child over two pieces of land in Thika.

In the now refuted claims, it was alleged that Wamatangi was fighting with powerful individuals in the government over Multibillion piece of land given by Delmonte and another in Thika Town.
