KURIA AND KABOGO LEAKS SECRETS ON WHAT DP RUTO PLANS TO DO

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and former Kiambu governor William Kabogo have accused Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) of planning to finish Mt Kenya politically.

nent Kimani Wamatangi went for each other’s throats at a rally in Kiambu county, the two politicians said the UDA party has been bullying their Chama Cha Kazi and Tujibebe political parties.

In a joint statement, the two Kiambu gubernatorial candidates alleged there was a conspiracy from UDA’s top leadership to sabotage their bids and parties.

The politicians said there were strict orders from UDA preventing their members from associating with their parties or supporting their gubernatorial bids.

Uninvited to Ruto’s meeting
They singled out a meeting that Ruto chaired a few days ago and which they were not invited saying it was agreed that the primary objective of UDA in Kiambu was to campaign for Senator Kimani Wamatangi for governor.

“Hon Kimani Ichungwa was given money to give MCAs to campaign for Senator Wamatangi,” their statement read in part.

The duo, in their communique, announced they had withdrawn from all UDA caravans saying they are set out to embarrass them.

“Following the unfortunate incident of 15th June, the Tujibebe Wakenya and Chama Cha Kazi parties have decided to pull out of the UDA caravans as they are clearly set up to embarrass other parties and demonize the Kenya Kwanza Alliance as a coalition,” they said.

Kuria and Kabogo also demanded an urgent meeting with Ruto to deliberate on the “unacceptable bullying by the UDA party and the clear attempts to disenfranchise and marginalise Mt Kenya and castrate the region politically.”
