Video of Gachagua Walking Alone in The Streets Sparks Reactions

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua visited Kakamega County on an official tour and took a morning walk through the town. He was impressed by the town’s beauty and cleanliness, and called it the “Green Jewel of our Nation.”

The Deputy President said that his walk through the town offered a refreshing glimpse of the serenity in the horizon, and that the fresh air was invigorating.

He also noted that Kakamega is one of the regions in the country with the highest forest cover, and that the many trees in the town and the surrounding area provide a much-needed clean environment for residents and visitors.

Gachagua’s visit to Kakamega comes at a time when the county is undergoing rapid development. Despite this development, the Deputy President was pleased to see that the town has managed to retain its green and clean environment.

He urged residents and visitors to continue to take care of the environment and to make Kakamega a model for other counties in Kenya.
