Major Event Set to Happen Today as Revealed By Orengo

Siaya County Governor James Orengo has confirmed that Friday, 11 August 2023 will mark the day when results of postermerm of victims of police brutality will be released.

The County boss is positive that the results will prove beyond reasonable doubt that the victims who died during the last wave of anti-government protests were taken out by rogue police officers.

Orengo who was speaking in Siaya on Thursday said that he has attended a number of postermerm including that of Jaramogi, Robert Ouko and Mutula Kilonzo, adding that this gives him wide experience.

“Tomorrow we will have our patriots who were killed from police gunshot wounds and postermerm results are going to be there. I have participated in postermerm when Ouko, Jaramogi and Kilonzo diet.” Orengo said.

In the same venue, the opposition allied politicians also requested for international community intervention to investigate what he termed as police brutality.

He said that it is now the duty of the international community to take action against law enforcers who used excess force to quell the anti-government protests that were watched in the course of last month.

“We need the international community to come out strongly and condemn the activity of rogue police officers and against police brutality because at the end of the day it is you who will deal with effects of police brutality.” He added.

He also took a swipe at Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome for what he termed as unprofessional statements from the IG.

Orengo said that he was amazed when he heard Koome saying that protestors had no power to throw stones at cops who had guns.

“I was so amazed with IG Koome’s language, he’s so unprofessional. Somebody who can say ‘unanitupia mawe na mimi niko na bunduki,’ that’s an unprofessional!”~Governor Orengo
