DETAILS OF CS AISHA JUMWA’S SECRET MEETING WITH AZIMIO LEADERS.

Former Malindi Member of Parliament, Hon. Aisha Jumwa Katana, is among the key leaders who lost in the August ninth general elections that were lucky enough to land lucrative slots in the Cabinet of President William Samoei Ruto.

Jumwa who hails from Kilifi County in the Coast Region was appointed to hold the Gender docket.

As a National leader and a champion of women rights and space, Aisha Jumwa is keen to create space for women in all spheres of development in the country. Before joining forces with Ruto, Aisha was a staunch ally and confidant of Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Amolo Odinga.

In what has elicited mixed reactions countrywide, Aisha Jumwa on Monday held a high octane meeting with women leaders drawn from Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party.

Among the Azimio leaders who called on her to in his office included: Dorine Sonya( Woman Representative Kisii County), Hon. Catherine Omanyo( Women Representative Busia County) and Nominated Senator, Hon. Gloria Orwoba
