10 SAFARICOM SERVICES TO BE UNAVAILABLE FROM TODAY

Safaricom PLC has notified its customers of planned interruption of a number of services for one hour on Sunday night. 

In a notice, the Telco said ten services will be unavailable from 11.00 pm to 11.59 pm, where it will be carrying out network maintenance. 

The services that will be unavailable in that period include;

1. Lipa na Mpesa Paybill and Buygoods

2. Mpesa Business to customer-B2C, Businesss to business B2B

3. USSD services including *100# and *200#

4. Daraja portal and all Mpesa API’s

5. Mpesa organization portals, Dealer portal and Lipa Na Mpesa portal

6. International money transfers (western Union) and Mpesa Global

7. Mpesa App and Safaricom APP

8. M-shwari, KCB Mpesa and M-Kesho

9. Pinless Top-up

10. IoT services

The company has assured customers that all other services including calls, data, SMS and all other Mpesa services will be available as usual.
