WHAT RUTO TOLD RAILA ON PHONE THAT MADE HIM CANCEL ALL DEMOS

On Wednesday Kenyans were surprised when Azimio la Umoja released a statement and said that they had canceled the demonstrations that were planned for Thursday.

This was after the Kenya Kwanza side announced that they had dropped Adan Kaynan from their team as demanded by Azimio.

An insider has however come out to reveal that there was more to the dropping of Adan from the team.

According to a close ally of Raila Odinga, Ruto called Raila and asked him for a favor to halt his anti governmental protests because the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz were going to be in the country on Thursday.

Ruto agreed to remove Adan’s name from the bipartisan team to make Raila agree to stop the demonstrations which would have given a negative image of the country.

“The president reached out and pleaded with our party leader to call off the planned Thursday (today) protests, saying it will portray the country’s image in a negative light as foreign dignitaries visit,” the ally who did not want to be named revealed.
