HUGE MISTAKE RAILA HAS MADE.

Prof. Fred Ogola, a political analyst and economist, is of the opinion that since Raila decided to end his second round of anti-government demonstrations before his demands were satisfied, the opposition alliance has already lost the negotiations.

On Wednesday, May 3, Odinga convened a news conference at which he and the coalition’s co-principal, Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper party, stated that the protests planned for the next day, Thursday, April 4, had been canceled.

The opposition alliance declared that after some back-and-forth about the team makeup, they were prepared to end their biweekly demonstrations and resume the suggested bipartisan negotiations that they had left behind.

The decision by the ruling team to remove Eldas MP Adan Keynan from their team during negotiations caused Azimio leaders to agree, calm down, and give the talks an opportunity to address their complaints.

Before negotiations begin, leaders of Azimio la Umoja have made their demands extremely apparent, some of which they have claimed can be settled before negotiations formally begin.

The opposition alliance has stated that some requests should be satisfied before the negotiations begin, including the reintroduction of subsidies in an effort to reduce living expenses and holding the talks outside of the parliament.

Prof. Fred Ogola, a critic of the Ruto-led administration, claims that the opposition coalition made a mistake by ending their protests before the aforementioned demands were satisfied. He now believes that the opposition alliance should have continued their rallies in order to get their concerns addressed.

By ending their huge protest before their demands were satisfied, Azimio “lost the talks before they even started.” Professor Fred Ogola stated.
