RAILA’S CLOSE ALLY VOWS TO NOW WORK WITH RUTO

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declared political winners for six political positions following the conclusion of the most recent general election, including MCA, MPs, Senators, Women Representatives, Governors, and Presidents.

Before another general election is held, political leaders who won their intended posts in the just-concluded general elections must hold those positions for five years.

Because of this provision in Kenya’s present constitution, political leaders are able to serve in their various positions for a period of five years without having to organize fresh general elections.

Despite having a close battle with Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance flag bearer Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga, Kwanza Alliance Kenya flag bearer Honorable William Samoei Ruto has been proclaimed the winner.

In what is seen as another major setback in Odinga’s Azimio, Busia County Governor Honorable Paul Otuoma who was elected as an ODM party candidate which is under the Azimio camp have today declared that he will work with Ruto’s government.

Speaking during a church service in Budalangi, Otuoma said that he will work with Ruto’s government for the benefit of his Busia residents.

This will be a huge blow for Odinga’s Azimio who are currently fighting to strengthen their opposition by having a large number of elected leaders.
