BABU OWINO GIVEN A POWERFUL POSITION IN PARLIAMENT

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has been proposed for a powerful position in parliament as coalitions parties continue to align themselves for a legislative duty.

Penning to his twitter page, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has asked Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga to consider two term MP, Babu Owino for position, Chair Public Account Committee (PAC).

Senator Ledama says as a loyal Raila Odinga supporter, Babu Owino moved around the Country to help drum support for Azimio One Kenya coalition, hence should be reward. He further, said his ODM fellow won’t disappoint.” He said.

“I know how hard Babu Owino worked during the campaigns for Raila Odinga, please Baba consider him for PAC chair of the National Assembly he won’t disappoint.” Ledama noted.

Following his post, Babu Owino has positively responded, “God on it,” other ODM member interest for Public Account Committee chairperson is former Suba South MP, now Nominated MP also ODM National Chairman John Mbadi.

In earlier contest, Babu Owino claimed that his goose was cooked amid claim, the party want to shortchange him for John Mbadi, an move he said he will not accept.
