Babu Owino Arrested

Reports reaching Challyh News desk is that Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been arrested.

The vocal opposition MP was nabbed by DCI at Jomo Kenyatta Airport on the eve of Wednesday protests.

Reports indicate that he was travelling back from Mombasa and was meant to join Raila Odinga and other Azimio leaders in anti-government protests.

This happened hours after Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina remarked that detectives had been sent to his home with an aim of arresting him.

It is also being reported that Gaucho who is a vocal government critic was also arrested few hours to the nationwide protests.
