BREAKING NEWS! POPULAR MP STONED

Kenyan popular Member of Parliament from Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda’s car was on Friday evening stoned by unknown assailants in Maralal, Samburu County.

According to Lesuuda, the incident occurred in Maralal town as she waited for her car after concluding a meeting with the area’s business community leaders.  She was however unharmed during the incident.

Lesuuda consequently insisted that this is not the first time she had been subjected to acts of violence within an election period and she urged Kenyans to tolerate leaders who are pushing their manifestos before next year’s elections.

“In February 2017, I had an incident where I was at a radio station and some young men came and they were even threatening to burn down the station and I was just talking and selling my agenda to the people of Samburu West so it is very unfortunate that we have such incidents and even know when in this area we are discussing about matters to do with security and everything,” Lesuuda said.

“If this can be done to my car what can be done to other people? As Kenyans, we should just be tolerant with everybody and allow them to do their politics and campaigns then you can cast your vote for whoever you ‘d like to vote for.”

She is however optimistic that the assailants will be brought to justice after reporting the matter to Maralal Police station.
