BABU OWINO ATTACKS RUTO’S ALLY.

Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino, unleashed a stinging attack at Isaac Mwaura a day after his counterpart Junet Mohammed hurled derogatory remarks at the Senator.

Owino slammed Mwaura claiming that he has never helped any person with albinism  despite holding the position for two terms.

Mwaura who is the representative of persons with disabilities in the Kenyan Senate, is also the first Member of Parliament with Albinism.

“With his Albinism, ‘Izo’ Mwaura has never helped any albino in Kenya after being nominated for two terms. This time round you must work for you to eat, nothing is for free,” stated Babu via Twitter.

Babu’s statement (which was rippled with unprintables) appeared to anger most Kenyans with many reviving his pending case on charges of attempted murder against Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve.

CCTV footage of the alleged shooting incident at Nairobi’s B Club on January 17, 2020, broke the internet causing widespread anger.

Babu’s sentiments came hardly a day after Junet accused Mwaura of bleaching his skin to land  nomination slots in the Parliament.

“It seems he bleached himself so he could secure himself nomination to the National Assembly first through the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), then Jubilee and now he has decamped to the Wheelbarrow movement,” said Junet.

The umbrella body representing people living with disability issued a press statement, condemned Junet’s remarks and demanded he withdraws the statement and apologise for his remarks.

Indeed, Junet issued a public apology moments after the press statement made by persons living with disability. He clarified that his comments were only directed towards Mwaura given his character.

“I want to apologize to people born with albinism. My comments in no way reflects my opinions of them as upstanding citizens of our county. My comments were directed at the rotten character of Isaac Mwaura who exploits his disability for personal gain and incitement of violence,” stated Junet.
