MAN DIES IN A LODGING. CONDOM FOUND ON HIS PRIVATES

Police officers in Nyandarua county are investigating the conditions under which a 58-year-old man died after spending a night in a lodging.

According to a police report, Edith Wairimu Mwangi found the deceased in the room breathing heavily after she went to clean the room at Heshima Lodge Olkalau.

The 55-year-old woman then rushed to Olkalau Police Station to report the man’s condition and the officers rushed to the scene together with sleuths from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).

An ambulance was called and he was rushed to JM Kariuki Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

“Upon examination of the body, he was found with a condom on his penis. The scene was processed by CSI personnel before the body was removed to the hospital’s mortuary awaiting post mortem,” the police report indicated
