A KENYAN IN US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

Kenyans are a happy lot after learning that one of their own is playing a key role in the US presidential role. After Barack Obama, she might be the second Kenyan to change the destiny of US politics.

Esther Ongeri is playing a key role in the Biden presidential campaign. According to Biden’s campaign website, Ongeri is the Director of Special Projects in the Biden 2020 campaign. She has served under that capacity since July of this year.

Before assuming the role of Director of Special Projects she was Executive Assistant to the Campaign Manager and Special Projects Coordinator in the same campaign team from June 2019.

She has been actively involved in Bidens march to White House previously holding the posts of operations coordinator from September 2017 to February 2018 and special projects assistant to the CFO from February 2018.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in political science and government in 2017 from Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey.

If Biden is successful in unseating Donald Trump in the November 3rd elections, Kenyans will be proud to see one of their own playing a key part.

Before joining Biden, she was staff assistant to New Jersey senator Robert Menendez between May 2016 and July 2017.
