UHURU WILL NOT RETIRE IN 2022, SAYS ODM MP

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has maintained President Uhuru Kenyatta is going to remain in government even after expiry of his final term in office in 2022.

Babu argued the president has not had enough time to compete the projects he initiated and needs to be accorded another opportunity to serve the country in a better way.

Speaking to TV 47, the youthful lawmaker argued Uhuru’s administration has been unable to deliver services to Kenyans due to wrangles orchestrated by Deputy President William Ruto.

According to Babu, Ruto has been sabotaging operations of Jubilee government and openly undermining the president. “The president is still going to be there with us (after his term ends) that I can assure you.

We want him to be there because he hasn’t maximised the opportunity he was given fully as money has been lost in individual pockets,” said Babu.
