SAFARICOM ANNOUNCES SERVICES DISRUPTION FROM THIS TIME

Majority of Kenyans use Safaricom as their preferred telco for data, SMS and Calls. The company enjoys a high subscription as compared to other telcos in the country. A small inconvenience will cause huge losses to both the Telco and it’s subscribers. To be on the safe the Company have announced that some of it’s service will be unavailable.

Safaricom has issued a Customer Service notice indicating that some of it’s service will not be available tomorrow, Saturday 24th July 2021. The giant telco announced in the statement that they will be upgrading their systems to increase capacity in line with customer growth and support more innovation that meet different needs of their customers.

The services that will be disrupted include product purchases, balance enquiry, okoa Jahazi, tunukiwa, all bonga point services postpaid payments, and home fibre payments will be unavailable on the night of Saturday 24th July 2021.

The goods news is all other services including call, data, M-pesa and SMS will be available as usual. And again the timing of this activity has been planned to result in the least possible inconvenience to safaricom customers.
