Karua’s Surprising Message to Raila on His Birthday

Martha Karua, former presidential candidate and leader of the NARC-Kenya party, extended warm birthday wishes to Raila Odinga, leader of the ODM party, as he celebrated his 79th birthday.

Taking to Twitter, Karua referred to Odinga as “kinara wangu,” translating to “my leader” in Swahili, and expressed her hope for many happy returns for him to continue serving.

The message garnered over 300 likes and sparked diverse comments from netizens. While some joined in wishing Raila a happy birthday, others criticized Karua for her endorsement of the ODM leader.

The ODM party also conveyed their birthday wishes to Raila Odinga through a tweet. The message expressed prayers for Raila’s good health and luck, highlighting the party’s pride in being part of his journey of excellence and success. The tweet concluded with a birthday wish: “Happy Birthday Sir #RailaAt79Strong.
