Alfred Mutua’s Letter to Fred Matiangi

New information has surfaced, revealing that Alfred Mutua, the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, previously penned a letter to the Ministry of Interior, then headed by Fred Matiangi, requesting an investigation into land grabbing in Mavoko.

Regrettably, this appeal went unanswered. Mutua sounded an alarm, cautioning that an MP had allegedly conspired with land cartels to fraudulently sell land to unsuspecting Kenyan citizens.

The letter by CS Alfred Mutua was written in 2015 cautioning against the allocation of Athi River Land to squartters. The issue has led to demolitions something that’s extremely unfortunate for people had been warned.

Alfred Mutua letter to Fred Matiangi was not acted upon and that’s the Genesis of the ongoing demolitions in Athi River. The fact of the matter is that, those who sold Portland Cement land will pay dearly for their mistakes.

President Ruto has maintained that, those that lost land in Mavoko after being conned will have their issues looked into. As always let’s wait and see of what unfolds given the prevailing political circumstances in the country.
